Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for your interest in my campaign for Selectman in the upcoming Town election on April 1^st.

My family, including my husband Richard, our four children Kate, Joey, Alex and Diana and our many dogs and cats has lived in Framingham for 25 years. Kate attended The New Jewish High in Waltham, class of 2002. Joey graduated from Framingham High in 2004 and Diana from Framingham High in 2007. Alex is a 2005 graduate of Keefe Tech and works in Framingham.

I have been volunteering full time for Framingham serving as a Town Meeting Member and an appointee on several committees. I will continue to work full time for Framingham as Selectman. My record shows that I am goal based, action oriented and work hard to achieve results that benefit the residents of Framingham. Framingham’s interests come first in all my decisions. I am confident my skills will complement the current Board and make a difference for our community.

Some of my prior contributions to Framingham include working on the newly adopted Housing Plan, where I encouraged an emphasis on neighborhood interests, the villages of Framingham, owner occupancy and re-development. As Clerk of the PILOT Committee I was responsible for communications, research and analysis, and authoring the Final Report of the committee.

As a member of EDIC, I am working on a promotional campaign, which I designed and developed, featuring Framingham as the 21st Century place to live, work, play and learn. In addition, I am working with local business owners to foster economic growth, partnering with Framingham State College and reviewing our local permitting process.

As a member of CDBG I support funding code enforcement, school programs and neighborhood improvements.

As Selectman, I will to work full time representing you and all Framingham residents. Our town works best when we all share in this process

- Selected as Precinct Clerk by the other Town Meeting members
Appointed to the “PILOT/Impact Study Committee” by the Town Moderator.
- Served as Clerk, and authored the Final Report
Served on the Citizens Advisory Committee on Housing
Currently serving on the Economic Development Industrial Corporation
Currently serving on the Community Development Block Grant Committee

M.S. Physics, Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts
