· I
co-sponsored the effort to create a thorough and legal process to create a
Housing Policy and Housing Plan for the Town. This included testifying twice
at the State House on Framingham’s behalf.

· As
a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee I participated in this new
process to create a Housing Plan and Housing
Policy. Town Meeting approved
the final version of this work in April 2007.

· I
represented Precinct 1 interests in the writing of our Over 55 Bylaw. I
offered an amendment to this bylaw requiring designated open space to come
from developable land, not from already protected land. This was the only
amendment for the Over 55 bylaw approved by Town Meeting.

· As
Clerk of the PILOT Study Committee I kept detailed written minutes as well
as audio recordings to ensure public awareness and participation. I compiled
the Final Report and Index of all the materials we collected and used. These
are available on the Town website as well as on my website

· I
participated in early discussions, which are still ongoing, to transfer the 18 acre Civic League
parcel on Edmands Road known as Stonehaven, to our Conservation Commission.
This parcel links with Callahan East, Brimstone, Wittenberg Woods and
Nobscot Reservation.

· I
assisted residents all over town with their concerns for both quality of
life and the preservation of neighborhoods.

· Groups and issues that I have
supported include: the cell tower on Nixon road, neighbors on Parmenter Road,
Emerald Valley and Nobscot Center Residents. Across town I have supported
Framingham neighbors including: the Sucker Pond Neighborhood, The Winter
Street Neighborhood, Framingham Centre,The Oaks Neighborhood and neighbors living on Dennison
Avenue.

· As
a member of the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (EDIC), I
was assigned to Nobscot Village and am currently
in discussions with Nobscot business/property regarding Nobscot center. In
addition, EDIC is also working on the new Master Plan, on a Public Relations campaign
for both business and residential promotion, and
with Genzyme and Metrowest Medical on potential expansion plans

am currently serving on the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and
hope to implement changes that will visibly improve the conditions of our
neighborhoods.
